Calli Backstory:
As she came off of birth control, Renee noticed that her PMS and period were severely impacting her life. Anxiety was peaking. Her sleep was being disrupted 3-4 hours a night for about 5 days in a row every month. Her exhaustion was overwhelming. Her mood went straight to “doom.” Her periods were irregular. All of this was extremely out of the norm for her. She was told by her doctor that her only option was SSRI’s. Having some experience in the supplement space, she started doing research on things she could take to help. The concepts of seed cycling and cycle synching started popping up on her radar through social media and friends that are dieticians.
Taking gobs of seeds wasn’t in the cards for her, so she started narrowing down on what vitamins and minerals her body needed and when. What were her body’s hormones? How were they supposed to function? What was happening if they were out of balance? Why was her body failing her 8 days a month when she was being healthy and working out? From all of this research, Calli Nutrition was born. After saying so many times “someone should do something about this,” enough people told her “why don’t YOU.”
